Why is it that every single video has this discussion about autobhop? Yes, this is done using autobhop and that's fine because that's a way to play the game. All these autobhop haters are basically people riding their BMX bikes and hating on motocross folks because the engine makes it "easier". It's not easier, it's different. I've done that map on a server with autobhop enabled and I had to scroll through several parts because scrolling made it easier - I didn't have to deal with the crazy speed. There are currently bhop servers in CSGO in which you can choose to play "legit", "autobhop", and any one of like 15 different modes. Each mode has its own best map time. Legit players don't compete against autobhoppers because that would obviously be unfair. I guarantee 99% of the people who watch these videos couldn't complete this map in a full day regardless of autobhop. There are only a handful of people in the world who can do what sQee does in this video.

nerfzinet sorry to burst your bubble but he aint using autobhop. autobhop may be considered good in your server, but most people dont and will never consider autobhopping a skill, because it takes the timing out of bhopping, which is one of the most important parts.

That is bullshit. It may very well be true that he's not using autobhop, but the fact is that timing all those jumps is the least challenging part of what he's doing. Also, nobody can bhop that consistently, he doesn't miss a single bhop through the entire video.

This is the only video that brings back memories for me. I bhopped for so many years (many wasted hours when I look back at it). this run is unbelievable good when we look back at 2013. Bhopping is growing and more people and better wr's are coming up. Grinded this map 8 hours a day in the summer just to get a 8.46 pr.

When do you press w in a bunnyhop to keep momentum

You don't. The mechanic is that if you hold down the forward key, your momentum goes to the maximum of your current state i.e. the weapon you have (or in Left 4 Dead 2, the health you have). You need to do this thing called air strafing, where you press a strafe key, A or D, and at the same time move your mouse slightly or a lot in the direction you are strafing in. This causes your velocity to rise, even past the maximum limit of the forward key. The other part of bunnyhopping is to jump the split second you hit the ground. Jumping immediately conserves your momentum, but doesn't add to it. The adding momentum is the air strafing. Currently I am learning how to do it myself. My brain understands the mechanics, but performing the bunnyhop in action is a problem for me. Though, I do not own CounterStrike. Only Left 4 Dead 2 and Garry's Mod. Only practicing the Bunnyhop on Left 4 Dead 2, actually.
