I love this bible. I'm protestant (Presbyterian). I read a lot of reformers and people from today, so this helps me hear an older perspective

Cautionary note: the notes from the fathers in this bible have been edited from a 28 volumes series, Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture, which has been edited from a more complete set of the fathers. The selections from the larger set was based upon an editorial board can raise questions as to why they omitted other important Fathers comments. I guess that is the problem with all editorial boards. Use this bible as an introduction to the Fathers of the Church then get copies of the works of the Fathers you enjoy. Reading the Fathers will change the misconceptions we have on what the early church thought, believed, and considered important, whether you are Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox. I hope you enjoy a new world of understanding your faith.

TJ I think your content is great, but I’ll be honest the channel name is not memorable. So every time I see your channel, it doesn’t ring a bell, and I often skip, but then when I watch your video, I’m like, “oh yeah! I like that guy!”
