I started to learn python some years ago. Did not know what I wanted to do with it. Tried to make a program for the fun of it. But did not cuntinue. Tried to make a game.. same thing. Thank you so much! I would say, just the fundamental topics are important-- classes and objects, functions, etc. After that, learning statistics fundamentals is probably more important. (Maybe on sites like Khan Academy or Coursera)

0:40 The first step in any data analysis isn't visualizing the data, it's knowing what questions to ask of the data. If you simply go in looking for patterns you might find some but those patterns could be there by mere random chance. If you do find a pattern you weren't expecting the next step, the 2nd step, is to get another independent sample and see if the pattern exists in that. Otherwise, any next steps will be an exercise in confirmation bias.
