Hi, Thank you very much for taking time to give feedback. You are right, the mic that I was using was horrible. Sorry about that. I got a new mic now. Unfortunately the videos in C#, were recorded before I realized the mic was bad. However, asp.net, sql server, mvc, gridview tutorials should be fine as I have used new mic to record them. I will try to rerecord those videos again, but as you know it is a time consuming process.

thanks for the videos. i have a program like static void Main(String[]agrs) { char i='A'; int j=i; console.WriteLine(j.ToString()); } and the answer is 65. please tell me how it comes
@rambodehydrated
@rambodehydrated 7 жыл бұрын
Because char 'A' is a number 65(his numerical representation) in the ASCII TABLE, when you convert it to integer, it shows it to you You can check here -> www.asciitable.com/ I was wondering the same :)) Hope it helps! Goodluck!

Why wouldn't you just make another method that does the same thing but with a different name and then just use toString() when you need to get a string from a primitive? public string getName() {return this.LastName + ", " + this.FirstName;} This seems to make more sense to me and it's more descriptive. Any particular reason to do it your way?

My first thought was familiarity, but actually this can be combined with other posters question(s), other methods/libraries might make use of ToString like Convert.ToString, so if it's not overridden,those other methods that use the base ToString will still output the not as useful namespace.class format.
@nys8260
@nys8260 3 жыл бұрын
because when you override toString() you can say Console.WriteLine(customrObject) without sat customerObject.ToString() and it will print the information for you
