@@civilmdc Hello Hussain...I hope you doing well..the clause which you have mentioned as per ASCE is oK..is there any clause in UBC-97 for the eccentricity check. I tried to find out what I see is the accidental eccentricity is given which is 5%...Could you please let me know have you came across the clause for the center of rigidity in UBC-97..I appreciate your response.

With presence of eccentricity.... Forces amplify.... Solution... You have to increase the column sizes ... On that part of the building ... Which is week .... Or you can provide ... Shear walls
