I'm glad Karl mentioned the shot clock and that the players just need to make a decision and commit. The last half of this match slowed to a crawl. Watching both guys chalk the cue, get down on the shot, stand back up, walk around the table, get back down, get up, chalk the cue, walk around the table, stand with their hands crossed for 30 seconds, get down on the shot, get back up, chalk the cue.... for every shot gets old.

I'm only kidding, I agree it's painful to watch at times even though I get the reasoning behind their being so deliberate. There are players that are so much more enjoyable to watch because of the rhythm with which they play the game.

I love how Cheng puts his cue stick on the table where he wants the cue ball to end up. Everything he does shows us how he intends to approach the shot for position. It's quite instructional, especially for me as a rank amatuer.

The last six racks are literally unwatchable. The audio is out of sync with the picture, there are massive encoding errors throughout virtually every rack after 8-8. It is free... but with obvious defects in the picture any time a player so much as moves, at the most critical point in the Final, I am genuinely surprised that CSI uploaded this at all. Extremely unprofessional.

so cheng has a meucci badge, but I don't seem to recgonize that cue as a meucci! The shaft pro's use from bob is the Pro Shaft and that shaft looks like OB due to the wooden ferrule.

That's Griff's billiards out in Vegas. Actually a pretty good pool room with some of the biggest action in the world. 20k/30k sets almost everyday with some of the best players on the planet so calling it a bar is extremely inaccurate.

It's just a different game on a bar table. Bar tables give more clusters usually and you have less room to move the cue ball but big tables have their own challenges. You have a harder time reaching shots on big tables, you have to move the cue ball more to get the same position, and shots are longer in distance to name a few

Carlo is getting Pagulayan disease. Gets down on the ball, gets back up again to think about it some more. They should call baulks in pool like they do in baseball. I really dislike slow play and it kills interest in the game. But then, it's a problem in lots of sports. Hurts all of them.

I feel sorry for Biado. He is a great player but so nervous he keeps chalking up, putting his hand on the table and then doing it 3 or 4 more times. I guess that's a small price to pay to be able to play like he does. But it's very aggravating to watch.

Include a damn clock in pool. It is outrageous how much time they took for some shots. OUTRAGEOUS!!! I don't care how difficult it is, it is pure disrespect for the opponent. It is a sport that you have to have rhythm and many take EXTRA time on each shot especially for that. If you keep me in my chair 10 minutes when shooting 2 balls ... you should get a warning from the referee. 30 seconds for each shot plus one or two extensions per game is more than enough. Mosconi-ish rule
