CSIR-NET ne jo 3rd category introduce ki hai wo 33% par hai. Pahle jab NET Qualification required thi tab universities ko laga bina exam conduct karaye direct candidates ko enroll kar sakte hain lekin 33% bohot kam hai isliye universities khud exam conduct karwa rahi. Unke point of view se bhi dekhiye.

​@@tusharhalder64 what if someone has passed general merit cut off? I have applied under obc NCL but found out that my caste is not on the central list but I've cleared jrf by passing the cut off for general merit, then will my jrf still be invalid due to lack of category certificate?

@@divyahart5802 I don't know about state universities but if you apply in central universities or IITs/NITs/IISERs/IISc etc, you have to show the central OBC certificate whose format is given in NCBC website. The institution will ask the OBC certificate because in the category section of your scorecard it's mentioned the same, also NTA stated in its information bulletin that no change of category will be entertained and one should make sure about his/her category by themselves. Also as you know the preparation of result by CSIR depends much on the statistics of marks obtained, candidates applied under different categories. Any change in one's category will disrupt the overall cutoff of the category, so CSIR or NTA is strictly against any category changes. So yes I think it is going to cause some troubles for sure.
