Building the Semiconductor Workforce

The subsidies and research activities established in the CHIPS Act will require a large workforce of various skill-levels to be successful. From technicians who can operate complex fab machinery to PhD engineers to drive innovation, the United States semiconductor industry is suffering from a labor shortage. This panel will explore methods for the U.S. to educate the next generation of electrical engineers and cleanroom techs while competing for world-class talent from overseas.
