Lawful ISTJ:If you resists, I'll terminate you with extreme prejudice. Chaotic ISTP:Not a chance, I have to put you down, for threatening my freedom and my individualism.

One way to tell the ISTJs apart from the ISTPs: INTP: "Imagine how many babies you have to skin to make a car cover" ISTP: "Depends on the surface area of the babies used and the tanning process, doesn't it?" ISTJ: "I'm reporting BOTH of you to HR." ENTP: "Hey! Did someone mention baby back ribs?"

You are a sick INTP or ISTP to use skinning babies as a comparison. The ISTP would be a sicko to even engage in a conversation with a sicko INTP about skinning babies. The ISTJ reporting these sickos is the only sane person. I hope you don't have any kids.

For the love of typology, I wanted you to learn that the partner whom I thought was ISTJ turned out to be ISTP. What a surprise! I’d say the confusion is most likely due to them being an engineer in the military for many years. I can imagine that military life can evolve a person in so many ways. I still struggle with his perceiving typing, because he genuinely exhibits his judging type so strongly. There is so much to learn about typing, and I am so appreciative of your lectures. It is so clear that I have much to learn about cognitive function. Please keep doing what you’re doing! We need you.

I have a 14yr old Istp son and a 7yr old Istj son. They do NOT get along as of now, The Istp is constantly yelling at the Istj to mind his buisness because he is always telling on him for not following the rules, Or doing what he should, like clean up after himself, put his seatbelt on, using profane language.. ect ect..ughh what a headache. My Fe parent ends up completely frazzled. On the flipside the Istp teaches and trains the Istj in basketball..this is where they connect.

Correction: the Catholic Church does not confuse the sins against purity known as Masturbation and Onanism. They are distinct and yes they are gravely or mortally sinful if done with sufficient knowledge and full consent of the will. The moral law is the moral law ... and it is more real than the law of gravity.

So I'm still having trouble pinning it down, on one hand, I'm very dependable, and loyal. I'll go above and beyond to make sure my word is gold. I'm also very critical of other people's intentions. This sounds like INTJ. But on the other hand I relate very heavily to not wanting my freedom taken away, and I often avoid anything that I feel like will trap me, and often prefer less planning, and more winging things, which kinda sounds like INTP.

C.S. Joseph, I am torn between ISTJ and INFP. I am super loyal to others and used to be naive enough to assume others that I was loyal to would also be loyal to me, causing me to entrust others with information that they then would use to incriminate and back stab me for the sake of gossip and socializing because I realize now that people just want something to talk about. I learned this in early adulthood working at McDonald’s, where I then continued on to be a manager. I worked there for 7 years, and am now in ultrasound school. I had to make the conscious decision to only be loyal to my boss who I knew was loyal to me, and also a handful of close friends I had made over the course of working there. I just really burned myself by trying to connect with others on a deeper level too quickly. I now tell people that the most valuable lesson I learned working there over the years is that bitches ain’t loyal. Just some insights. I know INFP and ISTJ value loyalty very highly.
@CSJoseph

Watts family I am not sure... I know a few ISTJs. I really like them, and don’t really fit most INFP stereotypes, but also identify w/ the INFP function stack the most. What is confusing to me is where my Te and Ne are placed. Neither seem all that impressive compared to my definite ENFP fiancé’s, but I do indeed have them in my stack. Fi and Si are pretty strong, I would say, or maybe I am just more conscious of them. I believe that my Si is more childlike.This, to me is an interesting dilemma and I have been scoping out people I believe to be ISTJs to figure out how much they really do want to connect with others, haha. I would also say that I identify with the Se blind spot but I do enjoy art and hiking and nature... i get overwhelmed by chaotic surroundings and cannot play sports, period.

Hi! A big fan of your work, probably seen more videos from you than any other MBTI youtuber on here. Two questions, heard many times that you do comparison videos by request, I am wondering if you can do a comparison video between an ISTP vs ENTP. I've seen sooo many people wanting information on this from personalitycafe.com, as well as typology website, users, desperate for some info on this. My second question is whether I could hire you for some consultation specifically regarding ISTP, ENTP, ISTJ dynamics. Been having some serious issues on the home front, family dynamics, and I know that having additional inside knowledge between the types will help us get along and communicate more effectively with one another. Please let me know what your rates are and whether or not you're currently available for consultation work. I believe in one of your videos you mentioned that knowledge of each other's types helps families, and the world, understand and through that understanding, healing and true meaningful connection is birthed. I believe very much in that notion as well. Anyway, before I digress any further, I can be reached at susanlee924@gmail.com. Thanks in advance.

ENTPs make amazing teachers that's for sure. You have great videos. Out of all the youtubers in this community you seem to have the most in-depth and perceptive thoughts on personality types. Also, might I ask where you get this info? Is it from books or do you find stuff online? I'm talking about the more obscure parts like one time you mentioned INTJ and ENFP being "triple movement" if I am not mistaken. I have never heard about this way of differentiating the types and I'm interested as to where you got that information.

Strange considering in an actual conflict I fight and fight well but I was always anxious before and during a conflict. It goes against our nature even though we’re good at Extroverted Sensing and are good at violence. Kind of like nature druids (at least the hippie idea of them). Silent but deadly type that don’t start fights but always finish them. Such a weird dynamic. Most great fighters are confident and enthusiastic about it, not I.
