I just purchased this. Excellent knife especially for communities that are knife-sensitive. Very well built, sharp as a razor. It sure looks like a tough little bugger too. I recommend it.

I bought and used a mini tufflite everyday, and it survived 8 years of hardcore abuse and use every day. And just 2 weeks ago it lost its tip. Still sharp af, still flawless if it wasnt for the tip that broke off.

The Tuff Lite is one of my most carried (and used) knives. IMO such a brilliant design deserves an upgrade in materials - especially blade steel. Maybe XHP... What do you think?

I only need a Tuff Lite for almost every tasks I do. From crafting my cheap Pvc blowgun, making blowdarts, shredding cardboard at work, just any cutting task! The blade is skillfully heat-treated, nice edge retention and easily sharpened on a fine aluminum oxide stone. That Taiwanese factory that makes these is awesome.

Got mine a couple weeks ago because at the time budget fit and blade length was ok for work plus it was local. Today got bite for first time my hand will never be the same and my respect for the design and blade shape tripled. Cleanest and deepest cut ever from relatively light pressure. I may pick up the mini tuff lite next.

Just a thought from someone that does safety all day everyday for a living. A pair of level cut resistance gloves would go a long way to making these demonstrations safe.

You guys at Coldsteel #Lynn Thompson #AndrewDemko, should make this exact same knife, a 4 inch blade, same handle, the thickess is more than adecuate at 4inch with this blade profile, is a perfect design, just needs a little more blade, it would be great to have a little more size choices in this awesome profile, and Im not expert, just a fan trying to get the perfect knife from you guys, love your products, have a lot of them, from the Torpedo to Gladius machete and bokkens. Keep up the goodies!

the cutting tests are cool. but the redundant tests on the already proven tri-ad lock get to be annoying with that stupid metal swingarm and stuff. Cold steel should dissasemble that contraption and just do cut tests and maybe a dissasembly or sharpening portion.
