Very great video, just wondering how to change the priorities or even double check to see if it is correct, i am stuck with just the last animation everytime go back to the animator

Hello, i am having some troubles with the motor6d, i really dont know why, the hips of my custom character are not being moved in the animation when its being played, even when in the animation editor i can see the hip move, after some investigation, i realized that the motor6d was blocking it, do you have any solution for that?

You do not need to separate the body!

Will this work on every character? I mean, if I want to add a character to the marketplace, can I use this method or do I have to create a parts for each part?

This tutorial is the first to get me to have a startercharacter!!, But i was wondering if you could help me with a movement problem, It kinda hovers (not the hipheight) the height is alr perfect but when it walks to it times and when it stops walking too it kinda hovers like rollerskates

like i want it to be a morph that you get when you press a gui button. not starter player.

i actually found it out, only issue i have is the wway it slides. other than that it's fine. im actually so happy because ive been wroking on this character model on and off and it took me nearly a year to finish despite it not being that cool. why, because of the numerous glitches and errors i encountered that i had to fix on my own because they were too niche. or just too many glitches in general. i took a long hiatus from it and now its finally done.

Hi ! I might need some help. I never dev anything before and I want to animate a cat as the main character. But everything worked except that the cat look in the wrong direction as I walk. Do you know how I can fix that ?

I made a custom rig in Blender, and I do the animations for it in Roblox. No matter what I do to try and load the animations whether its a script like the one in the video or a script that just loads the animation while the rig is just in the studio it wont play. I don't know how to fix this, please help!

Hi CSM! I'm an amateur Roblox dev and I'm afraid I need some help.... I followed ur tutorial and for some reason, the anims load for me but not my friend or other players. We followed ur tutorial and are very confused. Please help us 😢 Update: never mind it worked, all I had to do was make the game public lol 😆 also tysm once again for the help, i have always struggled to execute my ideas in blender AND Roblox and with this newfound skill, I feel like the best dev in the world! I noticed that the software used for this process was blender and maximo, which are both free and I appreciate that is made to accommodate in such a way. However I like to animate in maya, is it possible to model a rig in blender; rig and animate it in maya. but still have it work in roblox? If I can rig in maya and animate, does the rig have to be specific or am I free to make custom rigs? and does the framerate have to be a specific fps as well? Thank you for your time

I'm not sure on the framerate for Roblox, but any custom rig should work. I think Roblox limits object at 10k tris. Let us know if your custom rig works!

Yes your able to make custom rigs on blender and rig them! (Also have working in studio)

when i import my rig into the game it loads in but its all gray. how do i get my texture in with the model?

When exporting your fbx mesh from blender, in the export settings under "Path Mode" change it to "Copy", then hit the little box button next to this drop down. If this doesnt work, do it again but without hitting the box button. Hope this helps!

yes you can export the meshes and do any type of post processing

in the "Animate" script click on it and delete the lines that say like "figure:WaitForChild("Torso") etc. EXCEPT for local Humanoid = Figure:WaitForChild("Humanoid") it's the first few lines of the script
