Hi Jamie, just as an idea if you can get the measurements of the gear it would be pretty easy, and really cheap to 3D print them, if you ever get stuck with some stripped gears :) thanks for the great video!

I have that winder and use a toilet paper cardboard that I cut a slit at bottom. Have you tried this?

Yes. I can make the cardboard template fit closer than the toilet paper tube.

the yogurt cup as a base is a great idea and good reuse of the plastic. Using the "X" cut means it will possible work on more sizes of the "cups" than a toilet paper cardboard tube.
