Nice, love your tweezer skills. Why do you sew onto paper and then just rip it off? Is it to help it catch the feed dogs?

I was curious about that too.. but from my recent sewing adventures.. i would say it is to prevent the fabric from getting caught in the very beginning.. i have been running into that a-lot with stretchy fabric
