Fun fact: I never saw that video of yours about hacking Sonoff for dry contact, but I have been doing it myself ever since the first Sonoffs appeared. I did it with R1 and I believe I did it with R2 or R3 as well, can't remember really. I made 5 or 6 of them. Anyway, it took iTead what, like 10 years to finally make a small and cheap dry contact switch.

Yes, that video is from 2018. Maybe they wanted to give a change for 3rd party vendors to fill the gap. But I think almost everyone assumes that everything from eWeLink comes from Sonoff and they would not even consider to look elsewhere. Anyway it is here now. I looked at R2 and R3 as well, but it is way to dense for me to make the change.

And now we need dry contact no neutral that supports 8V AC for German doorbell / door opener systems in flats… maybe I try running this on a 12V battery and see how long it Lasts

Well, there is a Sonoff SV, that runs in 5-24V DC. So you can run it through a bridge rectifier. The output same as the input (not dry contact), but maybe in this case it is OK.

Shelly 1 dry contact sőt 12V táppal egy reed relével a státuszt is visszajelzi a kapcsoló bemeneten keresztül (230V-al táplálva egy Shelly addon kell pluszban). Shelly rulez.

Igen, de it kifejezetten a lényeg az volt hogy az eWelink rendszerében is meg lehessen ezt oldani.

If only iTead can make a safe voltage INPUT unit, which can also be set to update the input status at least once in 10 minutes.

@@brouwereric644 what do you mean safe voltage input?
@mkkd8518 күн бұрын
I guess he means a voltage input which could be used as a sensor (and trigger automation based on the voltage value).
