@Megan 1. time is limited 2. avoiding, giving the run around to questions is a move to run down the clock -- so if someone continues to do so, you will talk over them to reclaim your time and redirect from a pivot 3. it's understandable you wouldn't want to walk directly into a perjury trap but it's pretty alarming the head of the DOJ would have to tip toe around such if things were without flaw 4. as a former prosecutor, if the head of the department of justice / the chief law enforcement officer in the country is giving a senate committee the run around during a hearing -- you would only HOPE a prosecutor would nail them down and control the interaction.

It is his job to take the report that Mueller gave him and make a decision based on the facts in that report. I don't get why that concept is so hard to understand. You would think a former prosecutor would get it.

Mr. Barr put out a statement to the media that "the evidence" did not support a charge of obstruction of justice. Kamala got Mr. Barr to admit he never actually reviewed "the evidence" before issuing that statement. That's the point.
