Hey my man. Been watching your reviews a long time. You need to check out bill beaulieu boxing. Prob best custom boxing line out there. He taught alot of the custom brand names now how to actually make gloves and learned from Flores nephew how to make gloves. Check him out I own 2 pairs and might be just as good as my winnings.

From what I heard, he uses different padding for the 16 oz gloves because he assumes they will be used for sparring. The lighter gloves (12 oz and such) have different padding. I don't know what type of padding, just that 16 oz is different from the rest. (This is what I was told.)

I've had a pair of top boxer custom gloves now for over 3 years and they still look great...most gloves only last me around 1 year...the stitching amd custom work still looks brand new...the inside padding is broken in as expected after 3 years of approx 5 days a week of training....but they r by far the most durable glove I've had....for 150$ ...that includes tax and shipping and custom printing u can't beat it...I highly recommend

Bought my Topboxer Aliens based on your last review and it's definitely one of my top choice for training. Been a year and it's still going on strong, leather is still fantastic, and the padding didn't compact unlike my Win1. Great review as always and please keep them coming!

Did you buy the 14 or 16oz version?
@lancefury Жыл бұрын
@@gravel89-94 I have both, the padding in front is the same, almost no difference. It's the padding at the back of the wrist that is heavier for the 16oz. I also have the Win1 14oz which has a longer lasting padding than the 16oz sparring version.
@gravel89-94 Жыл бұрын
@@lancefury do you find the win1 14oz more protective than the alien 14oz?
@lancefury Жыл бұрын
@@gravel89-94 win 1 is bigger, more cushioning, and protects better when your guard is up. Aliens are slimmer, easier to sleep through guards, but more impact can pass through your guard. I hit the bag hard with both and my hands are very well protected. I would say they are both very protective and conforms to my hands like a second skin, but win 1 absorbs more impact while aliens have that latex bang on the bags that cleto Reyes or Grants have.

I've all of these gloves, except the fighting Fury, I can say my favourite are top boxer, for my hands Win1 are better than alien but It can change depends on your hands. For the same price also twins specials are amazing gloves.

Hey Carlo, nice Video! Is the Alien more protective than the win1? Thanks!
@damirpejinovic6693 Жыл бұрын
I´ve owned 4 pairs from 10 to 14 ounces, win and alien and the padding usually only lasts 6 months before caving in. I should say I hit the bag 6 times a week, aproximatelly 8-10 rounds every session ( I weigh 74 kg). Great gloves in the beginning, especially the Win version ( do like how you can fell the punches connect with the alien version, but my hands are not made for that kind of glove anymore), but not long lasting, if you dont alternate with several different gloves.

the same thing happened to me, i have a topboxer alien 14 oz. I just use them for 6 month and every week I just do 20 round heavybag.the padding start to become hard and hurt my fist. also the wrist support after long time using, they become terrible

Better options?
@damirpejinovic6693 Жыл бұрын
@@adolpholiverbush5867 Probably not the answer you want...but Winning. The best most durable gloves Ive owned. Fly also make good ( and a bit expensive...) gloves. A Great glove that I am unsure if they make anymore, is Boxing Classics. Handmade mexican style glove, but with better padding for your hands. Fantastic gloves for a Great price. Got the e-mail adress from a friend and contacted the guy making them (he didnt have a homepage or anything) 7 weeks later my gloves arrived from mexico. Bought 3 pairs from him through the years. But this was 10 or 15 years ago...think I paid 170 dollars for 12 ounce gloves, shipping included, from mexico to Sweden.

@vedder10 Жыл бұрын
@@88chimes I purchased both in 16oz. I wanted the weight for conditioning purposes. The difference between the two comes down to padding. The Win1 version makes so much difference with respect to hand protection. My right hand gets sore with other gloves including the Alien. With the Win1 I can punch the bag with a sore hand and never feel any pain. However the Alien does give you more feedback and crack on the bag. I'm not a boxer I just use these gloves for Fight Camp to lose weight through heavy bag workouts.
