Mentioned this on another video yesterday, but I have a suspicion the algorithm also tracks by how many consecutive wins you get - I’ve gotten bumped several times even though I was running below dyno every single time. Definitely something to be aware of

I will have to test that. Did you win each race within the lobby time range? I had to toss races because the opponent is running way out of the bracket.

@@maxthegamerOG Yes, made sure of it, but still got bumped from 8-8.2 to sub 8 lobby. Luckily, I then lost some and got back in, but it still caught me completely off guard

I actually observed this a few months ago when running Live Races with my 300 SL and 250 GTO against bots, where in the first races with these two cars, if I can remember correctly, the bots ran 9.1s-9.2s, and as I continued to race with the cars with slower times than their respective dyno, bots eventually started running 9.4s-9.5s! Wanted to post about this, but I was a week too late for that, and I didn’t know how to describe it for anyone to understand, anyway. 😅 Thanks for spreading this information, though! 😁

It’s is still a little gibberish mainly because once I have car that wins I use until my keys are done mostly! If I ever get the blackwing or some other unbelievable car I might start paying more attention. ( That is thanks to Melon so here’s to cross KZbinr interaction) as always nice one Max🎉

Thanks for the like Max, I was just playing and remembered being normal races( like legends) and facing an opponent that absolutely thrashes me then I go to garage or get gas or take a break and then opponent I thrash and get my prizes) Makes me think what the hell was that all about. Might resonate or show my isolation who knows👍🏾👍

Event races some times have multiple opponents you can randomly get. One or two could be slower.

This is very interesting. I probably still have a very dim understanding of low performance high evo and how it is/was handled by the game, so bear with me for some naive questions: a car is set-up with low pp-high evo with a dyno of 12.5. Because of low pp-high evo the car is placed in the 12.8 lobby (checked with bots) - probably because the game measures both pp vs evo and gives greater weigh to pp I'm placed in a slower lobby - is this a correct understanding of what low pp-high evo did/still does? In addition to this, I can easily beat my dyno with 12.2-3 runs. Now, if I beat my dyno I'll get kicked after a mere 2-3 runs (maybe it took 5-6 runs before changes depending on car and set-up). Fair enough. However, now, even if I'm consistently slower than my dyno but faster than the initial lobby bracket: 12.8-13.0 I will also get bumped rather quickly with these new changes (dyno irrelevant). As a consequence, another maxed out car with a 12.8 dyno, which I can theoretically run consistently at 12.81-85 will do good in this lobby and will be tough on the low pp-high evo car if it wants to remain in this lobby. Is this understanding correct although somewhat superficial? So live racing is even more a game of car control now - I think I like that. Thanks for sharing your thoughts in these great videos - you're making an enjoyable game even more interesting and sorry about the long post.

You are correct in the understanding of low pp high evo and my belief of what is happening now. So yes, a higher pp car that runs 12.8 lobby edge may be just as effective as your low pp high evo car under this system.

So you saying that my GT2 RS Weissach that runs 7.6 in a 7.9-7.6 is now vulnerable or further observation is needed? Or is this information only valid for just racing instead of swapping

This is more for racing to win than swapping. If you stay in the 7.6 to 7.9 bracket with a 7.9 car it should be fine.

I would be through tempest 3 by now but don’t have good tier 3 live racers to elite & im stonewalled by battle pass forcing me to elite to get my bonus tasks. I have 718 boxster spyder, cayman gt4, 2020 rs 5 non elite customs, z4m40i, m4 coupe 2*, Elantra n, Camero ss, srt hellcat, gt premium, cobra 427, corvette(c3) zr1, Alfa quadrifoglio. My rs 5 is basically maxed from the PC so it runs 7.8s pretty sure it can handle temp so I considered eliting the z4m40i. Or the cayman or boxster. All bad choices I feel though. Just no luck for me pulling a solid bmw contender in t3. I’ll pull one right after I elite something else lol. I can also buy the varis civic type R if that seems like a better choice to elite. @dubj5191 Z4M40i is able to do it fully fusioned at s5 only. I would not elite that. The maxed Rs5, if its the new one, tend to struggle with sprints. Old one is a bit slow. Gt Premium 2* Maxed also makes the T3 event easily. Z4m40i and GT, Those are your top two choices.

I’m not struggling to get through tempest tho, I can fall back on my gt or z4 for that, what I’m asking is if any of the cars listed above that I have could be ok for live racing to make elite? Tier 3 is my weakest tier. If you had those cars listed above & had to pick one to elite would you pick one of those or continuing to wait for rng to give me a worthy bmw to elite in tier 3. Tier 3s my only struggle. I’m level 114 & haven’t done elite license yet. Been waiting for the right cars to give that elite bonus to & tier 3 just sucks. Like I said would it be best to buy the varis type R out the event store with stubs to elite as my tier 3 car for first elite license?

i used to win 90% my races, now i consistently notice a turbo s in my lobby running 9.4s when me and the lobby is only running 11.0s. Yet after repeated wins for the turbo s it is still in my lobby and does not get bumped

He will move. The issue is of course he can always reset the car or in case of people with APK hacks. Just add a new one maxed and rinse and repeat.

When did this change happen? I’ve been live racing with my go-to and it still wins all its races easily (I run 0.5s below dyno) There was one time I accidentally got bumped up because I beat dyno but I got put back into slow lobbies 2 races later. This change hasn’t affected me yet

You probably aren’t updated to 4.7.0 or you have a car that good. I’m running a similar car but after 4.7 it got bumped after like 19 races cause I kept running .1-.2s over lobby even though I was under dyno

Hi dude I was browsing app in settings as today unusual complete disconnect And my WiFi was off First checked that no problems I was a little suspicious And I found under permissions of csr app that they were allowed permission to alter my WiFi status Which was not there before It did add additional content previous to problems... So I turned it off along with any unnecessary permissions I was also constantly bugged by a screen blocking map asking me to turn on notifications Each time I took it off it reappeared offering me 35 gold I wondered if you'd noticed it ( I know you use pc but maybe you also use portable device) ???

ive played this game for around 3 years on and off and still kind of confused on telling what lobby you are in. can you clarify?

The prevalent belief is that a lobby is basically a time bracket in which cars that dyno similar times are lumped. The idea is to land in a lobby of cars which have the same dyno as your car, or even better, land in a lobby where everyone dyno slower. When we say bracket it is because the dyno ranges that can end up in a lobby is limited. Usually around 0.3 second differences and up to 0.5 difference from a set number. These tend to be bracketed from solid numbers. You often hear 8.9 lobby, 9.2 lobby, 9.5 lobby etc. However, these are based on observation. NM never tells us what lobbies there are. To tell which lobby you are in. You need to run multiple opponents and see what the average run times are for most. Most players run their dyno or slightly faster. So that can tell you. Also, bots tend to run 1 second slower than lobby time. But they never run faster than 11s. So they are not an effective gauge for faster lobbies.

Down tuned cars are pivotal to the game Skill is not always enough As you always get the one race in trial cups or supply cups that no matter how you do you are not winning Maybe you don't find that But I have many times Race 13 trial cups Race 23 supply cups I was once whipped in maxed out PC car in the bonus trial I did nothing wrong But the bot did 7.5 I could only do 9 So I don't use them in live too often but daily races you need them NM will do anything to get funds even cheating And apart from PC cup to do times you can't reach in Dailly races is underhanded and is crooked But a seasoned player can recognise a scammer and simply not Race them and these are very persistent 7 8 9 time attempting to get you to fall in their trap I have seen purple star tier 5 cars in tier one lobby and idiots Race them So experience and wisdom is way better than fast cars fully upgraded cars

There is. Rp generation without wasted time looking for the next opponent during wildcards. It is far more efficient way to help your crew generate the 20mil needed to win a car every season.

You can trade with a crew mate in the same lobby meaning all rp is going towards the crew. Most efficient way possible

@AT-qv3gn Not hard to prove one way or the other. Feel free to document your RP gain in one hour with your car and let me know how much you made. I doubt you make more than someone who is swapping consistently the same hour. But if you prove me wrong, I would be happy to acknowledge it.
