CSR2, How to do well in A showdown with a slower car ??

if you follow my advice here you may be surprised at exactly how far you make it in the showdown even if your car is not the fastest, these tips can definitely help you earn some extra prizes or maybe even that prize car at 1200 trophy's that some showdowns have.

To find my helpful CSR2 playlists just go to my channel and scroll down to find the playlist section, My Playlist will teach you lots of great info about this game and make you a better player, if you do not know how to tune a car make sure you check out the tuning playlist, you can't just copy another persons tune and expect it to be the beset tune for your car. Your tune change every time you add new parts to the car. If you are stuck on a racing event, please make sure your car is tuned properly and make sure your driving it with the correct shift patter, if not you car will run much slower than it should, unfortunately if this does not help you might just need more parts to install in the car. a completely maxed out car has all of the stage 6 parts a stage 5 car is not a maxed out car.

Showdown: If I have time I use my best good car. If I don't have time I use the 2nd best and not focus on winning. When you use your good car again I usually win and the winning streak lasts to next milestone.

I have no idea how much game cash going to take you to your back something out,. for example you would have to keep buying and stripping those mustangs until you got enough fusion parts and stage 6 parts and it's random what it drops so it's very hard to say how many you will have to buy and strip to get all the parts for a car.

What works for me, is always pick the easiest car to achieve dyno or better times, constantly. Seems to match me up with racers that don’t beat dyno time more often.

Showdown tip: Always pick the fastest car u have, even if the shift pattern sucks, try to master it. Persevere and you'll succeed. Be patient as well. Patience breeds success so dont rage quit when u lose a race, never give up abd you will succeed👍

Danny, I've got the totally full YELLOW Hennessey F5 Concept. I bought it ($$$) for some past Flash Event. This car is a 5-purple star. Well, NM allows getting the RED F5 Concept to the SD, but not the Yellow one. NM is not serious, man!

Been playing for years and this showdown to win the Dutchboy Camaro was freaking difficult especially since I was up against mostly the Venom concept cars and I'm using a not maxed out exorcist that can't get below 8.00 seconds. However I did take your advice and was able to finally win the Camaro. Good tips Danny because usually I just race non stop until I get what I want but your way is less aggrevating..... Yeah the showdowns are definitely a pain in the butt. But usually even if I have a yellowish car I can usually make it to at least amount of trophies to get the prize. So hopefully it helps everybody else out as well

Just like you suggested, I usually start early and race as far as I can. Usually getting to 500 to 600 trophies. And then I race for 100 trophies after every one or two free crates and daily battles. I stop after getting an S6 parts (for elites) or prize car.

The way I do showdowns when I have a slower car is I do them in 3 seperate sessions, and this usually helps me get far in showdowns. My first showdown session I start a day after the showdown starts, 2nd session I start 3 days later, and my 3rd session I start when there’s around 1-2 hours left of the showdown. This usually works for me.

if you're having a problem that big there's really only two things to try what is uninstall the game very weird and that's the only way to fix it and if that doesn't help explain to them what's happening and then wait a couple days for them to get back to you. but those are about the only thing I can think of that could possibly help fix that issue

Hey Danny, In the Showdown coming up I have an M4 coupe which is the car I used in T3 (527 + 25) that they say is allowed but looking at the other cars there’s only 3-4 T4s and everything else is T5. Okay on showdowns there's all kinds of prize that you can get and some of you get even if you don't win so it's worth it to do as many showdown races as you can get in just to get some of the prizes. That Is my opinion

Untested Theory: take the best car you have, in the placement races don't use the launch button, intentionally miss shift and don't use the Nitro unless you risk to finish way behind the AI's cars. Try to finish first with the slimmest difference possible. in this way the AI will think that you are much slower then in reality and it place you in a lower grup giving you the possibility to win more races until you'll face tough opponents.

I assume you're talking about The showdown placement races, I don't think it really matters what your car runs and those things, you'll still get the same results from what I have found

I don't know if it was just something accidentally or the NO LAUNCH+miss shift thing really meaned something... That's why I said "untested" 2 times partially worked doesn't mean that it will work for sure

you actually have to win races to get off on the leaderboards it goes by the amount of trophies you win and you only win trophies when you win a room but there are a bunch of little prizes you get even if you win or lose races so even if you have a slow car it's worth doing some to get as much as you can

So here I am playing and the update 2.15 drops. I go to update it and afterwards the Ford cup prize crate is all a sudden locked even though I pulled 6 times before the update since it's the Ford Cup and only needed 1 more pull for an S6 part for my GT Heritage Edition ( the ugly blue & orange Ford that one). Then it says you can't use the T5 Heritage Edition the one with 5 purple stars. You can only use the 66 Heritage Edition. It's black & costs 4,000 Gold!! They're nearly identical!! I'm right around the same boat as you are it's only day three so we still have time,. The issue is a lot of people with a faster cars don't always start out on the first or second thing so we still got to deal with some of the those people who have fast cars in there getting late starts at the event,. I still think we should be able to get the Fry's car before this thing is over

I’d recommend racing day 1 to get as far as you can if you have a slow car race it on day 6 you should be able to easily get the 1200 trophies

I have not but sometimes they do band players by mistake, I know a lot of people that it has happened to and if it's just a 24-hour ban I wouldn't really worry about it, I mean you could contact support and complain but usually that doesn't do much good because your account will be on band and you'll be playing again in a couple of days But sometimes even if you did not do anything wrong they're anti cheat system flags you for some weird reason so it's not perfect unfortunately and it doesn't happen that often but it does happen from time to time

Are you in live racing are you in showdowns?? You need to get more details when asking a question like this and KZbin's pretty bad at notifying me of replies so if you replied this I may or may not see it,. if you're in live racing and it used to be people and it's been pushed into a faster lobby because you won too many races,. If it in showdown then there's just playing people who have faster cars than you who have around the same amount of trophies as you do

I would probably just skip The showdown fiber in that situation I am a strong believer of one of these events and showdowns pop-up just use the best thing that you have and get as far as you can with that. But that's just me

Completely disagree with the idea of stopping when you have a losing streak. It will balance out eventually in any session, even on one tank of gas. You'll make it further, then lose a couple, win a few, go back a few. We know that as more people participate with cars of all manners of performance, you will naturally progress. This is a combination of more participants at multiple tiers, as well as the crates that are available for mid-event upgrades. Most importantly, you're completely ignoring participation rewards! There are 500 races to complete for maximum participation rewards, over about a week. It's impossible to get all these rewards if you're doing 20 showdown races a day, or even 40 a day if you're doing multiple showdowns simultaneously. But you can get all these rewards even if you lose every race. It's called the grind.

The heritage GT is actually a different car and I don't know why one of the venoms is allowed in the other one is not,. but unfortunately there's really nothing you can do if you don't have one of the cars that are on the list. I wish I had a better answer for you but unfortunately that's pretty much how it is

Every time you run a race it takes one little fuel pip, unless it's one of those relay races that require several cars during an event sometimes those might take two or three gas but just one single race will take one single gas no matter what type of race you do

Since NM wants $10 for an instant Gold crate pull, the $55 combo is a good deal. That's if you don't have any of those cars. I look at it it's only $12 a car x 4 and the $7 for cash and gold coins( helps me sleep at night😁) You know what your buying and not taking a chance( gambling) on gold crates. After all that I said, CSR2( Casino Slots & Racing Too) is still overpriced!

You get matched up with who you get messed up with so unfortunately you can't pick and choose your opponents or avoid specificopponents, sometimes you just get put up against the turd who cheats which is unfortunate but it doesn't really seem to happen that often for me

Well this video should help you tune the car, as you change parts on a car it changes the tune so you can't just copy other people's tunes, but using this particular tuning method that I show in this video should show you exactly how to tune it and then next time you change parts you're going to have to do the same thing all over again or your car may not run like it should

Never ever have I experienced the “losing steak” thing. I run the minimum races per day per event. Like for the LA showdown for the days available I picked how many race rewards I wanted and I do 50 a day. For the Purple Elite showdown I run 67 a day. Once you max out your trophy count for the times you run for your car you average 2/5 wins. It isn’t about them giving you losing streaks it’s about whether or not your driving your car to its potential on a consistent basis. I am not the best shifter out there by far, but I stay in the top 10k to maximize my event rewards when it is over. If you want more tips, just message me.

You should be able to get for the 1200 trophies if you follow the advice I gave you here,. There's always the chance that you can be unlucky and it doesn't happen but I would imagine you should be able to do with you things go correctly and nothing weird happens

Bruh what I literally do is do like 60 races in a row, and I don’t get ANY trophies, Ive done 170 races and I only have 740 trophies, plus, I’m using an Aston Martin Vanquish, which is the worst car in the game, I can’t imagine a worse car than this

If your car is really slow compared to the other cars it's very hard and showdowns are getting a lot harder because people used to always start off on the first day and now a lot of the fast cars wait till later on before they get a start and that's messing things up for the slower cars

I like to be honest so I dont give false hope to viewers. No way you will win using a T4 car. You may get to 800-900 trophies but thats it. NM said they match you with similar trophy count but your race time does get in the algorithm as well. Remember when T3 C63 was in purple sd? I used it running 13s and got only as far as 900 and then it matched me vs T5 8s cars I cant possibly win. When there is a mix of tiers, use the top most tiers. FYI am using Red F5 missing 1 epic and can only get to 1600 trophy at 1-2k rank am running high 6.9s to low 7.0s. All the higher ranks are maxed F5 running low 6.9s and many hacked maxed Kam Havoc (maxed after 3 days the car got into the season? Where do they get all 7 s6?). I remember having maxed Cobra Jet, maxed Huayra BC etc but at most have only reached 2.7k. I have also tried maxing the car slowly e.g. apex car Maserati LB GT Stradale till its maxed but only managed 1.7k. My tune and shifting are fairly decent. Its the algorithm. Matchmaking sucks. Period. E.g. how can too many faster 8s car running against you running 10s at 1500 trophy when they are apex cars and should be at 2500 trophy? Thats why NM's SD will be BETA foreva!!!

Oh I've seen some people end up winning these prizes or at least claim to win the prizes with cars that were not all that fast,. I've seriously seeing 10 11 and 12 second cars get to the 1200 trophies on some of these events,. The main problem seeing lately is a lot of the guys who have the faster cars are starting late and they're holding back the players with the slower cars when they used to always start on the first day and move up and up and up in the trophies and that made it much easier for the slower players to hit their marks well the last couple of showdowns I'm noticing more and more of the faster cars with lower trophies because they've decided to wait till the last couple of days so it would be easier for them but they're screwing over everybody else. So what people would stop doing that it might be pretty easy but so far this showdown and I'm seeing a lot of people starting late with the really fast cars and that sucks

I wouldn't say so,. I would say the majority of player do not unless they've been playing for a really long time or possibly spent the whole bunch of money.

Danny Lightning I’ve been playing on my main for 3 and a half years, lvl 3261, on my second I’ve been playing for 4 months, lvl 358, it has multiple maxed cars and resources, I do not hack, just play the game 🤷‍♂️

Well, your advices are yours, but they don't apply to the reality. First race, against AI : lost. Why ? Game crashed. First race then against real player : level 1893, using the Venom F5 Concept full built. Lost again. Second race against a real player, same car, same build, same lost. Pause. 2 hours later, I tried again : 3rd race lost, same full build car. 4th race lost, same full build car. So no, certainly not, your advices are yours, but they're not efficient. Try hard is the only solution

Well, clearly your advices are (sorry) total bullshit. I got the Venom F5 Concept full 6 parts, tuned and I got the perfect shift patern. I didn't win a fcking race since yesterday, over 40 tries. 100% of fake accounts & cheaters.
