I'll never forget that Fives was the one and only clone, who almost exposed and stopped the mighty sith lord. Goes to show them being clones doesn't make them less capable than naturally born beings, "not clones, men!!"

I think one of my favorite things about TCW was how many characters were so close. Fives learning about the chips, Krell having a vision of Order 66, Ahsoka leaving the Order to seek out the truth, Dooku hinting at what was to come, hell Anakin was spoiled for Episode 3 and immediately turned.

In one of the books Kix got close too. He really listened to Fives at 79's ans managed to find out about the chips. But he got caught before he could deliver that information. An accident happened on the ship he was cryogenically frozen in it got lost, he ended up being frozen for 50+ years. He got rescued by a group of pirates a few years before the Force Awakens starts. Some people say your can see him in the background in one of the Resistance base scenes but it's never been confirmed. Did say that he grew out his hair and facial hair so seeing his reflection wouldn't hurt as much. Aside from maybe Boba Fett and Omega (they don't have accelerated aging and late 60's/early 70's isn't that old for a human), Kix has to deal with being THE last Clone.

One of the best clones created. Was so upset he died as he could have saved the clones and the Jedi with his knowledge of the chips. One of my favourite moments was his motivation to the cadets as he was right - they were all the same with the same heart and blood! R.I.P Fives!

The fact that orginals and prequels all came out before TCW kinda doomed his failure. He would have to fail one way or another, but that's one of those elements that makes TCW impactful for the viewers: knowing everything in the future and still powerless to change what's to come (unless you are a new viewer who chose to watch TCW before moving on to EP3 and everything that happens after).

The worst part is that shortly after the death of Fives, the Jedi discover that the clone army had been created at the request of Cout Dooku pretending to be Master Sifo Dyas, really, it was right the next arc after The Clone Conspiracy, it was just the Council do two plus two to know something was off, instead they kept the revelation secret and believed the Kaminoan Doctor's words without any investigation, Anakin in particular should have realized something since he was directly involved in both investigations. No wonder Palpatine tricked them right under their noses.

It had to be so frustrating for fives having only experienced combat under Anakin. He was so outside of the box on Umbara and one of the most effective and capable clones to ever exist in the GAR. If Anakin was there every plan he came up with would have been approved and this terrible battle would have been short lived and far less bloody.

The way he screamed "ECHO!!!!" got to me when I first saw this. Echo and Fives were the last 2 of Domino Squad but now it was just Fives. Until season 7 we believed that Cutup, Hevy, Droidbait, and Echo were all dead and Fives was the last member of Domino Squad. But now Echo is the last member of the squad.

Just imagine if Shak-Ti had taken Fives at his word and brought that information to the Jedi Council. Maybe they would've uncovered the plot with the clones and the inhibitor chips long before Obi-Wan would find the connection to Sifo-Dyas and the Clone Army's dark origins. Maybe with an uncorrupted clone army at their side, the Jedi could've defeated the separatists and delayed the emergence of the Sith. Who knows... All we do know is that Fives was that close to upturning everything that the Star Wars universe turned out to be. All the death and destruction of the galactic empire and the new order, the reign of the sith lords... Fives nearly stopped it all. {-}7

I know Fives’s rank is unconfirmed but I think it’s likely he was a Lieutenant. He seems to an equal rank to Jesse in Umbara and also during Rongo Vinda, Anakin tells him to take 10 of his best men and support Doom’s forces. The fact Fives would have more than 10 troopers at his command implies that he was likely a higher rank than sergeant. Tup likely served as Fives’s Sergeant of his men. Because Anakin says “Fives, Tup take 10 of your best men…” this implies Tup is also in some level of a leadership role. This would also explain why Fives considered Tup his closest friend by the end of the war.
