CTA Fallout: Black Mountain Assault

April 1st, 2289 - The Brotherhood of Steel launched Operation Lost Signal. The operation was an assault consisting of seasoned Knights and Paladins, along with some newer initiates to expose them to intense combat situations. Black Mountain was the target of this operation, home of the Super Mutants around the Hidden Valley Bunker. The force was lead by a rising star within the Mojave Chapter. Star Paladin Mushi.
The Brotherhood wanted Black Mountain for some time, due to the dish network and broadcasting capabilities. This facility would help with establishing a connection to the Lost Hills bunker. With this communication between the two chapters, it could prove extremely vital in planning the moves against the NCR in the future, as in California's borders, the NCR and Brotherhood still have skirmishes with each other.
The assault on Black Mountain would prove slightly difficult, as the super mutants would have the advantage of the higher elevation and spots for fortifications. The initiates were the least armored of the assault force and unfortunately all were fallen by the first sector of attack. Most of the knights and paladins still stood by the end of the assault. The facility was secured. Those fallen would be remembered in the archives. Helping the Brotherhood towards victory.
