I’m really drawn to the Data Crew Snacktime Sling! I love their pouches and know their gear is top quality always! I have never had a sling bag before but have always wanted one! I will definitely have to save up to afford a snacktime sling though but I bet it be worth every penny.

@@mikeydailycarry I hope you do. There are so many ways the original's better imo it only lacks loop front for moral patches, but that's it. Honestly going patchless is kinda growing on me.

It looks like the Dendrite is 60ish bucks (currently 85 on amazon put probably due to Holiday) and I've been debating between that and the Snacktime for awhile now. I actually bought the Snacktime, but I was a little disappointed that it didnt have a second largish pocket inside the main compartment in the back, just the hook and loop. Dendrite has a second pocket in the main compartment.

I have both of these bags as well. Personally, I choose the Data Crew bag every time. The premium feel is much different, and data takes the cake. With that said, the CT4W is still a fantastic bag. If data crew isn't in budget, or you're new to edc and don't want to drop big bucks just yet, the CT4W is a great alternative. Great review!

Thanks for this! I was really waiting to hear that the DC sling is not just the CT4W with the DC patch sewn on. I have the SnackTime sling, and I want to support US makers, so I paid the premium price for the snacktime sling. But in the same breath, I don't want to be duped into buying something 4x time price that's not really made here. And it sounds like the snacktime sling is really made here... Thanks for the honest look at both.

Thanks for checking out the video. The snack time definitely has an identity of its own. I understand the price that comes with it. I would recommend the ct4w as more of an entry Sling compared to the data.

Great review Mikey. Fair and honest. I’m a big Dara Crew fan so I’d probably support the homies. But for the price the C Tactical is hard to beat even with high shipping.

Hey Mikey - what are your thoughts on the Datacrew snacktime vs the aer city sling 2? I know that snacktime is 3.25 vs 2.5L but didn't want anything that felt or looked too bulky. I plan on carrying 16oz bottle with my phone, wallet, airpods. I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. I work at the hospital so I also didn't want people to notice the skeleton logo on datacrew as they may think it's unprofessional. Thanks!

Hi there! I honestly have never tried the aer personally. Therefore I wouldn’t be able to give you a fair comparison. However, between the data crew snacktime vs the CT5 ctactical, I would lean more towards the CT5. I’ll be coming out with a review and comparison soon.

Thanks for the response! I checked the video and yeah that one was in my short list for sure. I actually just found a more similar one like these in this video from Black Canvas Accessories. It's called the Daypack Sling. Looks about 1.75L maybe but not sure. Only found one video on it but it looks good for people that want something a little smaller than these 😃
