Excellent talk and thanks for clarification. It is seem in the modern world number of youth are being brain washed and without depth research youth are tend to belief in view which is often come in light of falsity. I scroll down the comments and there are many harsh words throwing towards Professor Samdhong. While reading those comments i have tendency and expecting points or reason for what sake they against you? in fact if they have valid point I'm ready to take that but disappointedly i don't see even single points in their comments. It gives me more vivid insight that how hateful view deposited in their mind. They are object of compassion you Rinpoche you said in speech. Many thanks i will apply your precious instruction and view Shungden follower being brained washed by ignorance and wrong view. and their are first being to be taken as object of compassion. A clearer version in English: -Previous Ganden Throneholder, Lungrik Rinpoche (now resident in France) deceived HH Dalai Lama and promised to avoid Shugden in order to secure enough supporters to take the Ganden throneholder position, should be a something written to this effect. As soon as he stopped as Ganden Throneholder, he revealed he was still practicing Shugden. -The CTA has requested specific incidents, individuals and evidence of Shugden believers turned away from essential services such as medical help and education, and has received none. -He urged the students not to believe what he said because of which “side” he was on. He also urged them not to believe Shugden claims simply because they identified with that “side”, but to do the reading and checking necessary to form their own opinions. -Mentioned that prominent Shugden people, of whom the CTA is well aware, were issued travel documents through the assistance of the CTA and the Indian government just like any other Tibetan. Noted the number of Shugden people travelling on these documents. Therefore no human rights violation on freedom to movement, coming in and out of India. -Mentioned that Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and Gangchen Rinpoche have an incorrect understanding (extreme?) with regards to the teachings on “How to Rely on the Virtuous Friend (Teacher)”. -Even though the above people have caused problems, still according to Buddhism actually we should have compassion for them. Thats one of the problems in our community. Monks playing politics. i have seen his teaching in Gyutoe monastery in North India. Where he said at the beginning of his lamrim teaching that he got him lamrim teaching from Trijang Rinpoche in Lhasa, Tibet. Now he is going against his own guru Trijang Rinpoche. I also remember when he was offered a honorary prize in Delhi by Tibetan Youth Congress, he said whatever he does and did for the Tibetan government is because of his Guru Trijang Rinpoche advice and not out of his patriotism for Tibetan cause. I am puzzled by the two faces of Samdong Rinpoche.

HH Gaden Tripa 101 was from Sharpa Choja. not Jansta choja. and Then you act like you don't even remember HH 101st Ganden Tripa Lungri Namgyal Rinpoche la's Name. How can you talk about HH Gaden Tripa to Students/public when you don't even know HH Gaden Tripa's Name and weather HH is from Sharpa choja or Jantse Choja. If 101 Gaden Tripa took promise or swear in front of HH Dalai lama and now he is shugden lama. Doesn't make him lier. DON'T FORGET YOU TOOK SOGTA FROM HIS HOLINESS KYBJE TRIJANG RINPOCHE IN 1972. NOW, You are against your own guru. ( Do you not understand meaning of guru devotion?) Penpa Tsering, Samdhong, Lobsang Sangay. You Three really needs to work for making Tibetans united and for the Tibetan Independence ( Ranzen) .
