You're welcome. I am planning on drilling my own shallow/ground water well for lawn, garden, cars, boats and fish cleaning. Am I correct in understanding that some pumps use an internal venturi...rather than one that is remote? If our first well is successful, we want to drill/jet a second one with the long range plans of geothermal heating/cooling. Again...thanks for a concise and informative video. :)

Good video. I need to draw water over 25 feet. I have a 2 inch pipe in the ground now. Is there a jet system I can use? By the illustration I am guessing the pipe needs to be wider?

I have connected a 1/2 inch pipe to my centrifugal pump and the automatic pressure controller would not turn the pump off. Is it because the pump is not making enough suction?

the normal pumps are not practical for real world water well applications ( they can only lift water about 16feet) that is when you use a Jet pump this pumps can lift up to 230ft

Jet pumps are designed for shallow wells. If you're going 200ft deep I would suggest using a submersible well pump.

roflex2 THE THING YOU TALKING ABOUT IS SAME AS WE USE ELECTRIC MOTORS IN OUR HOUSES TO SUCK WATER OUT OF CORPORATION LINE AND DISCHARGE IT TO THE OUTLET LINES. BUT JET PUMPS ARE USED TO SUCK WATER FROM DEEP UNDERGROUND AND DISCHARGE IT TO GROUND LEVEL WHICH REQUIRES VERY HIGH CAPACITY CENTRIFUGAL PUMP IF NOT JET PUMP. JET PUMP HAS ONE EXTRA ATTACHED PART KNOWN AS JET ASSEMBLY.

you cannot suck water from more than just over twenty feet. Deeper than that and it must be pushed from below

just one thing , i am not clear with the technicality, how is the vaccum being created and the underground water being sucked through the foot valve because of the "water" flowing through venturi. i hope i am right with the fact that the "water" here i am talking about is the water already filled in the lines and the centrifugal pump. PLEASE BRIEF. ANYONE ?
