I'm not sure he will be able to mod those items into the game, since he would have to port their code over from Wii, and they would be convoluted to program into CTGP-7. Now for the items themselves. The POW Block isn't the worst thing ever, but you have to time when to shake the controller to avoid losing speed, which is annoying considering it goes off very frequently, and everyone loses their items anyway. It's also somewhat useless not just because players can shake the controller to avoid losing speed, but also because this item can be avoided if you are in the air. With all the tricks, halfpipes, and mid-air transitions in Wii, there is a good chance you won't even be affected. Since 7 has gliders, the same can be said here. As for the Thunder Cloud, it's just the worst item ever. Yeah, you go fast when you have it, but then you'll shrink if you don't pass the cloud to someone else. To make matters worse, you can get it somewhere within the span of 3rd-8th place, which is a problem because if you are in 6th, 7th, or 8th place, you already aren't doing well, and the cloud will just add to the pain. I prefer these items never come back, but if Nintendo did want to reinclude them, I would definitely want a rework.

Saw this in a Nathaniel bandy video but could you make a black shell? It’s a green shell that bounces a few times and explodes like a bomb when it hits players or after 10 or so bounces To make this fair with other bomb bomb Maybey make the blast radius of the black shell a bit smaller Just a suggestion! Hey I have a suggestion (that I wished they did in MK8DX) What if you added the super feather, in races and battle, but ofcourse jumping over walls wouldn't really go well in races, so it would let you jump over red shells and pass them to the next person! I think any item that allows you to pass red shells to the next person is just a cool idea!

Its so amazing to see custom items in this game. Would be very cool to see actual CUSTOM items that have never been in Mario Kart before :0 Maybe a gold flower that summons coins when an enemy is hit? Maybe an item that lets you do a jump but get a boost after it like with a ramp?

Although the cloud would be better if there was a low percentage chance for it to make you big instead, or maybe have a grey cloud to shrink you and a purple cloud to make you bigger (as two separate items). To be honest though, I’m just grateful for what we have. If we end up getting more then obviously that’d be super cool, but if not then I’m already really happy to have got these two.
