Hell, this game was their attempt to torch the series before running. They figured that introducing an alien and forcing a complete different game type would jump the shark and make people stop caring about Crash. Problem is that they made the game too good for that to work.

The reality of that was crash back then was a property of universal interactive. Or Vivendi universal. Universal still would turn them down.

You didn't need that ounnyr ganeshark disk. The demo was accessible by pressing R1+L1+ Square.
