Creating a sequel would be difficult, as there would be pressure or expectations to make a movie as good as this one . There’s not much to work with to create a sequel. This as it is was a masterpiece

Good movie, the only thing that didnt make sense to me is that in today's technology people can spot deep fakes easily. So the video of Joe accusing Nella in reality would have been easily spotted as fake

Some people did spot the deepfake in the movie, it can be seen in the comments of the video uploaded by her. But, most people don't think to look closer, people are gullible and get swayed away by emotions. Joe's death was a national drama, and Nella was also involved in acting crazy with the girl (in the start of the movie) and also with the reporter, so it is understandable how people ignored the possibility of the video being a deepfake. Also, that wasn't the only proof for her arrest, the message to meet Joe at the ferry was also a huge (albeit circumstantial) evidence. Nella never saw it ofcourse, since her laptop was controlled by the remote dev when she was looking away, but the police would not believe so

I felt like there were two points in the story, one being the manipulation done by companies collecting our data and the emotional reliance of lonely humans on technology. First point was conveyed well but it could have been more in a way where they would have showed narratives than telling us via speech. The remote access was too much on a nose. It was really stupid of Nella to give mic and camera access even when she is not around. The second part where emotional reliance comes in, the ending could have done more to work against it. Rather than Nella falling into rabbit hole, what if she joins this public tech group and one scheme is people who are lonely on internet meet and talk rather than chatting with AI companion. She could have Severus Snape this thing,like Snape was not able to protect Lily but then he gave himself to the cause, Nella could have done something in that direction. Atleast that's what i feel was healthy way out. Here it feels like Snape allied with Voldermort and killed more Muggle borns than before.

Perfect explanation i was looking for But my question is Can this deep fake can be used as an evidence to arrest anyone in real life ? And did nella get some money as well while dropping the case ? How she can forget her boyfriend and what about her laptop evidence cuz there were 2 laptop Can she make the joe family to sue mantra for using joe ai And does this movie have some true events

"Hey Bhavna, thanks for your comment. The deepfake wasn't the only thing that contributed to the arrest. The cops also got the evidence that Nella had agreed to meet Joe near the ferry over texts. I doubt that Nella got any money. Any money sent to her would've made it look like Mantra had paid her to buy her silence. What Nella can or can't do against Mantra is up to the sequel if they decide to make one. But going by how Mantra probably has the law in their pocket, they can crush any case before it even reaches the court. And even if it does, it's too circumstantial to hold any weight."

The ending was very wrong. The Mantra should be caught for killing people at the end of the movie helped by Nella, this must be the Satisfactory Ending of the Movie By Punishing Mantra and Aryan!

@@Princess.Rupnagar we all know that Mantra and Aryan getting punished is only wishful thinking, a common man/woman cannot fight against such a big corporation. The movie makers wanted to portray reality, not all movies have to have a happy ending.

I too expected typical good ending. But they went for a REALISTIC ENDING. 👏 (Nella, an individual wining against a multi-million company may/may not be realistic.)

@ but this kind of ending can influence real bad people to do more crime and killings with their power and thinking like that the Law forces and justice can never do anything to them! Which is not accepted. The director should take into account these things and Truth always win at the end no matter who had extreme power to hide truth. That is the universal truth

Welcome to reality. There aren't always "happy endings". I'm tired of that trope in bollywood and I'm so happy to see something new like this.

I was so disappointed with the ending. I was worried that she might attempt to take her own life. But this ending was worse than that. Stockholm syndrome types. It inwoked a lot of feeling and fears in me for the future.
