I sincerely hope that y'all work out these issues before releasing 煙雨濛濛. Why doesn't 庭院深深 have such challenges? The release of 庭院深深 has been so successful, judging by the number of views in the first 24 hours of release, because we get to see and hear the whole episode - it has all the music and captions intact. I am a huge fan of 秦漢 and 劉雪華, and would love to support your channel, but I will not be watching this particular release. I so love seeing the caption in 繁體字 that your original version has. Please take your time to resolve these issues, before releasing 煙雨濛濛. These shows are such treasures that I'd hate to see them so altered. Thank you so much from an overseas fan.

@peilian kho Good news is 華視戲劇頻道 seemed to have heard our pleas, and have released 煙雨濛濛(Misty Rains) in its ORIGINAL form, which is THE BEST. I had only seen uploads of version made for mainland China, with the 簡體字 caption, and chopped off ending. The original version has a sage quote at the end of each episode, plus you get to see the complete ending, instead of infer it, so I am so so happy. I wish they would take down this upload of 幾度夕陽紅, and reload the original version complete with everything. Though people have speculated copyright issues, I don't think that is the case, as the complete release of other such dramas by 華視戲劇頻道 necessarily includes some other music, but it has been deemed fine as evidenced by these uploads staying on. Each of these dramas is precious as they are irreplaceable pieces of dramatic work that is the pride of Taiwan film/TV making. Having left Taiwan when I was young, I was so amazed by the quality of these shows that I proudly show my kids and my friends here in the US. Compared to the dramas in America at the time: Dallas, Dynasty, etc., these are every bit as good in technical aspects, but of course with 瓊瑤's story and the talented actors all giving their utmost, it counters the stereotype here in America that Asians lack charisma/acting talent, and are only good at STEM. I am in awe of all these actors/actresses and all the behind the scenes folks. These shows have enriched my life and helped me reconnect with Chinese language and culture and my homeland. I am eternally grateful to 華視戲劇頻道, except that if they will forbid other uploads of these shows, claiming copyright, which they have, then they should upload complete versions.

@@carolchang2526 for me watching these drama series started as an effort to revive/improve an elementary level mandarin acquired as a child,i have since devoured Misty Rain,Deep Courtyard,Seagulls Fly..yeah got hooked!! My written Chinese is poor and i understand maybe 70%of the dialogue but i love the melodrama/predictable plots as a bonus the characters speak in idioms!
