If you have a house (for home charging) and own two vehicles, one of them should be an EV. Just go buy a Tesla. And I wish the governments would quit giving away my hard earned tax money as incentives. A quality product will sell itself.

I've been driving an EV for 5 years and love it. It costs me $2 per 100 kilometers when I charge at home, which is 90% of the time. It's also quiet, I don't have to touch dirty gas pumps, it doesn't stink, and has really quick acceleration.

I guess Ontario didn’t learn from wynnes clean electric windmills and gas plant that will cost taxpayers forever. This will be another flop. Look at all the charges on your hydro bill caused by government corporate welfare and risky bets.

@@albback8176 How big is Norway as a country compared to Canada? How is the population compared to Canada? How is the infrastructure for charging compared to Canada? Who wants to wait for hours to charge a vehicle when you can drive to gas station and in less than 5 mins fill up and go. And yes Norway is cold but in some parts in Canada it can get to -40C. And who wants to drive a tiny car when you can drive a truck.

Why arent you guys talking about the fact that electric vehicles arent as feasable in Canada as it gets too cold for these vehicles. Its similar to the Liberal "brilliant" ideas about forcing heat pumps here in Canada where it gets too cold/hot for heatpumps to really be very efficient. I think Canada, if we're really serious about a cleaner alternative, should be pushing more for the hydrogen vehicle alternative as that will still work just fine in the colder climates found here in Canada.
