This. I'm all rather shocked that no one has brought this up. There is a trade agreement and a decision has to be made on whether we tear it up permanently, or just ride out the 4 years with Trump and hope the next President plays nice. We can't really move on to start creating our own manufacturing base and market until the agreement is gone. If we don't, no company is going to invest in a factory in Canada when in a few years the tariffs on both sides are gone and once more cheaper goods flow back into Canada.
