@@bvictoria6605 that's not necessarily a wrong scenario. But it's also possible that his vanity is so great that being the country's ruler over-rides his personal greed. He's set for life one way or another. I think Pollievre has been such a thorn in his side that Trudy's ego can't let him back away from having a go at him in an election.

Mr Singh is looking out for his own personal interests. Specifically his pension. Considering I heard him say not long ago that the liberal and conservatives were both self serving and not looking out for the interests of Canadians, he just exposed himself as Canada's biggest hypocrite.

Take a look at the Canadian dollar under Harper (2006-2015) vs. now. It's been a continuous fall. Below $.70 yesterday.

So here’s the reality. Regardless if Justin Trudeau leads the liberals in the next election is Irrelevant. The entire party would have to change their stripes in order to survive. Any ounce of the old Administrations, tactics values and policies will be picked apart by the public. The best choice is a completely different government, and that is the conservative party .

What Canada needed was to have a competent government with a strong mandate in place by the time Trump takes office. Both Trudeau and Singh have put self before country and they have failed Canada. What is it going to take to reduce their combined 40% support? If their numbers dropped to the teens, perhaps it would jolt their respective parties into action.
