Or you understand it’a great way to devalue the CAD against USD. They are certainly aware that the Fed might increase rates in 2025 and that the discrepancy of interest rates level between the BoC and the Fed would decrease the CAD against the USD and give a most needed boost to exports as Trump is threatening to implement a 25% tarif.

Canada has such a booming economy. we just borrow money to sustain a nation of government workers and never pay it back. when interest rates catch up with those clowns the government just manipulates the interest rates. that or they attack Iraq for their oil. pretty disgusting. pretty pathetic.
