The job of a bank PO is a lucrative career option and a white-collar job. Every year lakhs of students contest for bank PO exams. The job basically offers prospects for a bright future in banking and high career growth.
In this episode of CTwT, we have with us Pratikshit Tiwari from Jaipur, Rajasthan who is AIR 1 RRB PO 2019. Coming from a family background in which his father is a doctor, he had made up his mind in entering the banking sector. He made a major switch as he is an engineering graduate who came into the banking sector. Self-preparation is what he believes in and he has succeeded in becoming a topper with his consistency and dedication. He gives his strategy for rrb po prelims and strategy for rrb po mains exam. Pratikshit stresses on the advantage of online preparation for banking. According to him, to crack any bank exam, proper mock test and mock analysis is definitely the key. Other than banking, Pratikshit has appeared for exams like SSC and FCI.
His weakness was general awareness and strength was quantitative aptitude. Multiple reading was his sole strategy for memorizing points in general awareness. He advises all aspirants to focus more on accuracy while preparing for bank examinations. His family supported him to pursue his interest and he found inspiration from many of the online educators he followed. He believes preparation for bank exams is different from any of the other competitive exams as one does not have to burn the midnight oil to crack rrb po or any bank exam, moreover, it depends on the person’s level of concentration while preparing for bank examination.

Arithmetic topics : select any 5-6 topics in which you are good. Like i selected profit & loss, SI CI, Ages, Mixture allegations, Boat and stream. I used puzzle mania for puzzle. For computer lucent book and one bolt pdf. Logical reasoning almost skip kiya tha. Only easy questions attempt kiye the. Current affairs 4 month ka from any 2 good sources. Likh kr multiple readings kiye the.

In rrb po mains my attempts were 27 in maths, 32 in reasoning, 39 in computer, 38 in english and 33 in GA (somewhat like this) I did Computer, GA, English, Reasoning and maths in this sequence.

You cant skip. Kya pta RC ya cloze test tough aa jaye. So mostly error questions can be covered from few topics like Subject verb agreement & tenses.

In RRB PO, all questions except those of language paper are in both English and Regional Language.

No.. As I can remember, all questions will appear in default language that u would choose at the starting of the exam... Later if want to view in the other language (Eng or Hindi), I think u have to manually change it every time in every question..
