Thank you Edward for getting your mind opened to know more about your neighbor and the richfull mexican culture. It is like in Mexico exist manny Mexicos. Each region, each part of the historic process has it's own beauty and interesting aspects. From the native pre-hispanic cultures when it didn't borders exist before. The spaniard colonial period with manny expressions of the barroquean style in music and arquitecture that lately ceates the particular mexican colonial style. Then the USA invasion and the lost of more than a half of our territory stablishing a border betwin your beautifull and powerfull country and our Nation trying to develop after another invassion from France. Take time to know about Benito Juarez and the Reform Laws that establish that Goverment and Church must to be separate. After that a period of peace that permits a Romantic Era, literature, music, theater, and a new arquitecture inspired in Europe meanwile a dictator keeps the power for decades. And then our social Revolution and another kind of ditadorship, a unique political party for other decades of bad admninistration and corruption, but anyway , the people steel creates excelent art, and today we hope that the new transformation with our new president ahead and biside us can generates the best conditions that permit better felationships betwin US and Mexico and we can be not just neighbors but brothers. sharing and growings together. Then we can learn more one each other.
