Great video, although i will make note you forgot to fill oil filter until it reaches the threads. Then let it absorb for 2 minutes into filter mesh inside...then install. Either way these kholers are way better than Briggs & Stratton

Not practical to prefill side oil filters it's not that intense he's just cutting grass lol

I have that same year lawn mower. And I've never been happy with the quality of cut it produces.. seems like all the grass ends up on top of the mower deck... Must have a bad vacuum design.. would not recommend this mower or anything made by MTD

Thanks for the vid. But good grief man, it's your personal choice/habits of course, but there is no need or gain by tightening the filter that darn tight. Firmly hand tight is more than enough. But that is, of course, IMHO only!

People who do not know how to tighten oil filters shouldn't be putting up videos on oil changes. And KZbin shouldn't be making their video the first one that comes up!

Just bought this exact mower but in 22hp the 23hp is not available here great mower tho
