I was considering this mower against Toro 4200 Timecutter for my lawncare business. I know they are not commercial grade machines but they'll do just fine for me for a few years. They are both similarly priced here in Europe (around 5500 Euros). Ultimately I went with Toro because it's got a significantly more powerful engine (11.4. Kw Cub vs 18 Kw in Toro). And since I cut a lot of overgrown lawns it was a deal breaker for me...

I had the same decision to make but I decided that support where I live was better for the Cub Cadet. Hope your decision has proved what you needed

@@clivet3428 so far so good. But I've just been using it for the month at the end of the last season. I'm super satisfied with the power and handling. I'll see if the quality problems start popping out as the time goes on.

18kw Toro is @3600rpm 11.4kw Cub Cadet is @2400rpm At the operating speeds (up to 3000rpm, limited by hydros) those two make the same power Both are 42 inch models tho, quite different to this 50 inch in this video (stamped vs fabricated deck, 2 vs 3 blades, branded vs kawasaki engine, etc)

Now some time later I have used it quite a bit. Conclusions are 1. It is very manoeuvrable much more than my previous cub cadet zero turn 2. It is much faster than my previous machine so I can cut the same area of grass in about a third of the time 3.The left hand hydraulic motor some times doesn't seem to work 4. The oil change was easy 5. It is confortable to drive
