Personally, I find this video about Cuba celebrating what used to be 40 years of historical and revolutionary significance to be of tremendous meaning. Now, in 2019, it is still the same thing after 60 YEARS! Viva Cuba! Hasta la Victoria Siempre! Long live the Cuban Revolution!

@@robertpolanco1973 why the heated replies? Long live the Cuban Revolution, you said. If you believe in such a system, why not moving to a country with a similar system? People have being doing that for ages... Well, not to socialist countries, people tend to move to free and prosperous regions like north america, europe, Japan and S. Korea. It's a legitimate question. It's like... You're writting something you don't believe in.

The boat is what I think the person Castro or something road in to start the revolution
@raycom32
@raycom32 Жыл бұрын
I’ll explain, the boat is called Granma or known has “el yate Granma” this is the boat where Fidel, Raul, and hundreds of other soldiers used to go from Mexico to Cuba to start the revolution. It is a very important boat for the Cubans because it was the boat used to start the revolution, to this day the boat is still preserved on a museum.

Prussian military tradition. Many countries have it due to prussian influence in their armies in the XIX century.

@@hansvonklein3420 the soviet style of parades had a lot of prussian influence, for example in the way they marched. This influence is surely from before the Soviet Union, it was inherited from the Russian Empire

@hansvonklein3420 3 ай бұрын
@@comradejackal1917 Yes, it is true that russian and soviet style in general was inspired/influenced by prussian-german style, However Cuba had instructors from the Soviet Union, and the goose step they do in this video is made in soviet style, same with the company formations and the flag bearer formations, it's all soviet organized. Soviet goose step is a bit different from german one, they don't bend the heel of the foot forward like in the prussian style, and their legs step on the middle of their body instead of straight like in the soviet style. However, this has changed nowadays, and cuba's goose step is not like the one in this 1996 video anymore, it is more slow and more "German"

Militarily, I Am not impressed with the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces, a Russian- trained and equipped discount Military who got their asses kicked in Grenada back in 1983, by Superior American Forces.

@John Rodriguez - Johnny, that is so pathetic of you to say that! After all, the U.S. had NO RIGHT to be Grenada just because of what happened in the country due to internal divisions and so forth. But then again, America has NO RIGHT to be the "policeman of the world" and such!

Cuba's communist victory was only in Havana and Angola but never in Vietnam the Vietnamese Never adopted a Soviet or Cuban Style of Socialist Government I don't degrade nor insult the Cubans but I admire them how patriotic they are in fighting for their homeland but I don't see them as enemy not even the United States or Russia or China there is no Glory in war and Bloodshed but blood and human destruction hope that our world must be a better place for all
