Watched this documentary and was captivated by the human story, most people want the same things in life, food, safe home, ability to provide for family, education for their children, love, and fun. The 3 brothers story ate at my soul as they were cheerful despite their adversities. Overall as a human story, i give this a thumbs up.

This is a wonderful picture of the resolve and drive of the Cuban people despite its government slowly crushing them through a failed attempt at a socialist government. My grandfather fled Cuba before Fidel brought the country to such a point of control and poverty, which is so plainly, and truthfully displayed in this documentary. The scene that got me was the washing and re-using of rubber gloves in the hospital until the gloves broke- because they did not have the resources available to get more gloves. These families had to live in horrible conditions and still stood strong. God made Cubans different and I'm grateful to be granddaughter to such a strong Cuban Abuelo.

Politics aside, this video was very inspiring to me, and it was a teaching moment about life. Just like what we are going through with this Corona situation, this video was just like a message of hope; if we keep just working despite all the challenges like these 3 brothers, even if we lose our jobs we should just keep punching like these old brothers who lost all their cows to thieves, the night was long but the daylight ended up rising to the horizon; they finally could make enough money to afford a couple of news cows; the Hasler was able to showcase his little success after enduring prison and precarity; that's what life is about never giving up despite how dark the times can look like. That's what I get from this inspiring story and thank you to the director for his amazing lifetime work.
