This one is another hypnotic song. It is a prayer if you listen to his lyrics and feel the raw emotions. The falsetto layering to create harmonies, the bass reverb (rumbling as you said) 2:02, his vocal timbre with that nasalization and raspiness 6:52, the traditional Afrobeat (padded) drum 6:03 and the relaxed delivery all come together to create a simple and meditative feel. Every melodic line with random embellishments are not a waste; even the occasional piano chords and metallic cymbals adds flavor. No one does it better! @Cub besides the drum, bass, and piano chords, what’s the high pitched sound that gets louder at 8:16?

@@mikeyminit5059 Pls name one artist that went global on 100 % Pidgin English lyrics? I bet u can't. Wizkid had to adjust a whole lot to eventually penetrated the US. Same with Burna Boy etc. Victony is definitely not surrounded by seasoned industry personnel

@@ugoawa3171 Again u talk sense small. But again u miss my point. Let's leave afrobeats for a sec. Let's talk about Reggae or Reggaeton. Throw in Zouk for the sake of it. Most these songs are done with the native tongue. They go Global and back. With more listeners ignorant to the lyrics. Yet they vibe out. Victony just needs a promoting team that'll take a chance on him. He doesn't necessarily have to change his lyrics.

Amazing video. Just discovered Victony 3 weeks ago via ad and it has been the best ad mistakenly clicked on this year. Period!
