Can Dock I have a probably wierd question.. Can one make a Richart Sowa or Uro Peru style mobile floating island with these if they put down pond liner on top and then soil and grass and trees etc and put a tumbleweed tiny house like structure on it and live out on the water on a tiny man-made island?

yes it could be done... each cube/floaters could handle 75 pounds and be only half submerged at 150 pounds water gets top level. you could even have two layer of cubes/floaters one above the other.

how much weight can the 8x48 support?

Stig, the cubes are designed to hold 150 lbs. per full cube or 60 lbs. per sq. ft
