I remember 15 years ago, when I tried to do pull off mario world key jumps and got so frustrated at them. I just saw them as completely impossible without tool assist. If I would have seen this gameplay back then, I would not have believed my eyes... Even now, with a new perspective on what is possible in mario and knowing how skilled Ryu actually is, this was to say the least very impressive to watch.

The most wild thing about this video is how few edits were done. So many segments were just continuous. Like, how? He moves like they do. He can see the code. It's astonishing!

Really appreciate the video of your first run of this. As impressive as it may be seeing you one shot stages in shorts it honestly kinda blows my mind seeing how you're able to tackle these in short order on your first run. This would take me a week to play though following clear videos on KZbin; you're able to clear this while waiting for your laundry to finish in the dryer.

because you asked in the beginning: I feel like for me at least this is the perfect amount of editing. Perfect amount of cuts so it doesn't get boring watching the same segment of the level for the 6th-7th-8th time and not too many cuts so you don't lose the feeling how long and hard the levels actually are. I really like your editing style in general though - I don't play mario games (exept mario party sometimes), I never played any kaizo just a bit of SMM1 but realized quickly it aint for me but something about your videos is just calming and exiting at the same time.
