Actually if you want to get really technical, a 3x3 can have multiple solved states simply because all the centers can be solved rotated differently which is why a super cube can be so difficult

Cubing terms that are on top of my mind: ZBLL, COLL, CMLL, CLL, ZZ, ZBLS, VHLS, VLS, HLS, 1LLL, OLLCP, EG-1, PR, WR, WB, WCA, TPS, AUF, ABF, enough with abbreviations, Winter Variation, Summer Variation, Half Centers, 3-2-3 Edges, Petrus, Reduction, Yau, Hoya, Ortega, Anti-CLL, Old Pochmann, M2, Orozco, 3-style, R2, okay I'm done

How to calculate averages of solves: 1. Take out the best and worst solves of the average or just put them in parentheses. 2. Add up every time in the average. It can be in any order and it will still end up in the same sum. 3. Divide the sum by the number of solves in the average (except for the fastest and slowest solves) 4. And you're done! Now you have your average! How it's done: 1. (3.23), 4.38, 4.56, 4.76, (5.30) 2. 4.38 + 4.56 + 4.76 = 13.7 3. 13.7 ÷ 3 = 4.56 4.56 is the average of the ao5.

everyone uses "Tension" differently lol I think Gan's GES system uses Tension as spring compression, SCS's store has it as screw depth. Sometimes people call it elasticity, sometimes people call *compression* as elasticity. It's all over the place.

when people say algorithms that involve a trigger they often shorten it to just the name of the trigger and sexy move sometimes gets shortened even further to just "sexy"

Ok... here is something that kinda personally annoys me about your comment If you can solve a cube kinda fast then you’re a cuber You don’t need to say ‘I’m something of a cuber myself’’ This isn’t to be rude, just a personal annoyance
@anishsunuwar26573 жыл бұрын
@@speeedycuber Umm.. You made speechless.. But, I'll write. First of all, there was nothing annoying in my comment (i guess). And I didn't wrote that Comment for you BTW. Secondly, i respect your perspective. If you are annoyed then i can not and will not do anything about it. And Yes! i can solve a cube pretty fast. Not "kinda Fast", Fast! I average about 9.369 sec on 3×3 cube (Not Flexing or am i?). It's Probably because i have been cubing for almost 7 years now. About that Line "You know, imma something of a Cuber myself", that was a reference to a meme or you can saw a dialogue from Spider-Man's villain 'Green Goblin'. It was a famous meme you might have seen it or heard it. I don't know. I see you have been annoyed by my Comment. So, should i delete it? Huh, kid? If you want me to delete it, then I'll delete it. And i see you have been uploading videos on your channel, which is pretty nice. Keep Doing, Kid! Keep Doing! Best of luck on your channel! . Tell me, if you want me to delete this Comment or not? The notation is called the "S*** Move" since it only requires two sides to solve (R' and U'). Most youtubers use this notation for click bait.
@johnpenner5182 Жыл бұрын
also - they forgot their history - they talk about cube notation, but never mention it was david singmaster who came up with 'Singmaster Notation'. it uses U and D for up and down - there are also other popular forms of cube notation dialekt, such as 'Nourse Notation' - used in millions of copies of 'The Simple Solution to the Rubik's Cube', which use T and B for top and bottom, P for Posterior, and use explicit + and - for clockwise instead of ' for prime (counter-clockwise) moves.

7:35 i'm not sure i agree with this definition. in my eyes finger tricks just refer to how you turn a puzzle, regardless of whether it's an efficient or inefficient technique. so stuff like regrips and turning the U layer with your wrist are finger tricks, just bad ones.
The term “hardware”. As a fabricator, hardware is nuts and bolts, so when people said “updated hardware” I would think “updated screws and springs? That doesn’t make sense” It took me too long to realize that “hardware” is just the overall “tech” of a cube. Adj systems, mags, maglev, and so on
