Back in 1975 or so my step dad came home with an Ampex 1/4" reel to reel tape deck. It included a bunch of tapes with no labels. One of those tapes had this album on it. The other album on the tape was Pink Floyd. We never could figure out who this other band was. I have searched far and wide for decades and then I found this. One of the greatest mysteries of my life has finally been solved.

I think KZbin was the best thing that happened to music in the digital age. When I buy music now, it's 99% of the time something I discovered on YT and know what I'm in store for. Why buy an album if you don't know if you would like it? I find it a better alternative to the radio, which doesn't exactly help you discover music anymore.

Like that the band spreads much of the climate of the later sixties. But also, most of the time I get the impression, that it's possible to "smell" the change of the decades from '60s to '70s. Anyway: Vocals and guitar are magical. The music of Dust on this record is mysteriously (in that , I couldn't say exactly how they do) much more convincing to me, than many other bands in.this style/at that time. 😋yummie!!!

This band came to our high school and played a concert in the auditorium in the spring of 1971. It cost $1. The lead singer gave a short 1-2 minute anti-drug talk (the pretense under which they were invited I believe, lol) and then they got on with it. I always remembered their name. Obviously they had a good sound very much of that era, and the production was outstanding.

So glad I grew up in St. Louis area, used to hear great music like this on K-SHE 95. Heard 70s classic rock from bands like Strawbs, Lucifer's Friend, Triumvirat, Gypsy, Nektar, etc. Real rock never dies, it lives on!

Perfect!
