Got to this video from your email. With the subject, all I could think of was “Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is Hov, H to the O-V”. Great video as always

Nailed it. I was initially going to put a pick of Jay-Z in the email but decided to put a pick of myself, hahaha.

Great video and review! Love your channel and content! My wife and I have decided on the nanit pro for our baby coming in October of this year. We just feel it’s the best option out there and we love the tech side of it! Being that it’s hsa eligible is a huge plus since my employer essentially pays for it!

Great choice, solid monitor. And thanks for the reminder on HSA eligibility, that's something I always forget to about.

I've just received Cubo Sensor Pad, but I'm already quite disappointed with it. First to mention that breathing monitors are the most important at the age of 2-4 months when the risk of SIDS is highest. At this age many babies could sleep in newborn cribs or bassinets with the most common mattress thickness 3 or 4 cm. The Cubo Pad is really thick and makes 0-6 months crib mattresses unusable because of huge bump it makes in the middle of mattress which is even visible with naked eye. I think they made the thing that thick to fit 4 AAA batteries in here, which shouldn't be necessary for wireless sensor devices - my guess they didn't succeed in power consumption management and decided to use workaround with a lot of larger batteries. In comparison - I have many vibration and movement sensors in my ZigBee smart home setup, and all of them work just fine with initially supplied flat batteries for two years already. Never encountered a missing alert. Of course breathing monitor it is not the same, but quite similar - it is still specific version of wireless vibration sensor. Cubo Ai sensor pad feels like kitchen scales was fitted with wireless module which transmits readings all the time and then data is analysed outside of sensor. Usually such devices should analyse readings inside and only transmit state changes. Another thing which bothers me - every time I open the app it stays in connecting state for a few seconds and only then shows sensor pad state. Feels like connection is not always alive and you could miss an alert in situation which could be life threatening for the baby. I'm going to run some tests to see if connection issues are really the case. Right now the thing looks like the early prototype which is however sold for a full price. I like the idea, but current implementation is horrible. I hope they will release the second version of the device which will be engineered more like remote sensor than €129 kitchen scales.

Hi there, I was thinking about buying this product. Do you still not recommend it? Is there a better product you suggest? Want the best for the little bubba

@Dad Verb i noticed you said not to get the Hubble. Can you please give me some details why you don't recommend them ? I couldn't find any review on the Hubble Dream+. Have you tried it ?

Love your video and subscribed! Quick question - did you get to test it with the doll and see whether it truly works if there’s no breathing/movement? Thank you!

How does the app work overnight? Do you just get a notification or can you set it so that you can always hear the sound like a regular monitor?

Does the pad get hot under the mattress? And is it suitable for newborns?

DONT BUY the CUBO they turn off it off after 2 years max. You just get a aqua light and never allows you to reset or connect. They then push a replacement for $200.... connections issues are a thing even as well. The camera its self is built poorly and not suitable to be near kids.
