Their pitching after we were not looking so hot and miss offense against above average pitching, which you will see in playoffs is not that great

Phils are looking good. I hope the offense can continue to give the bullpen a multiple run lead when our starters leave...because our bullpen worries me. All the talking heads say that our bullpen is very good...but other teams are making a lot of solid contact on these guys and they frequently give up a couple of runs.

Estevez does not close games out in the strongest fashion, too many baserunners. Strahm and Hoffman have been reliable. Kerkering when he’s on he is tough, when he’s off he seems to get rocked. Ruiz has been better than I expected, but as in this game he might give up a run. But compare them to the bullpen on other teams, and I think the Phillies might have an advantage there.

Phillies Rays, Sept 10 of this year, Harper had a homerun negated by a fan interference call when it was shown on the replay that a fan reached over the fence to catch a ball that probably would have been over the wall anyway. Tonight, same thing happens with Nico Hoerner's HR, but they don't call fan interference. WTF? Does Thompson have to challenge the call there for that to happen? And if so, why didn't he?

I like that the MLB highlights feature all of the different broadcasts on the plays. ESPN only seem to show the highlights from the broadcast team the Phillies are playing against. It seems super odd to me.

ESPN is using the road team highlights probably because they know there will be a TV broadcast by the away team,

@@stevebabiak6997 it’s not just the road team though, they rarely show the Phillies broadcast. Not sure what you mean why there will always been a road team TV broadcast. There’s always a broadcast for both teams unless it’s a Nationally televised game. I watch the Phillies highlights on the ESPN all the time and they rarely if ever show the Phillies broadcast perspective regardless of if they’re the away team or not.

So what else do you want? For the record, the Phillies don't do well in the WS as a wildcard team. The 2 WS wins the Phillies have, they were division champs and had home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
