Good info... was able to use the debug commands to help prove DIDs were not active on SIP trunk.

+Michael Wood Thats a big thing with troubleshooting. A lot of times the DID's don't show up and you can throw that back to the carrier.

Cool video. Why did you do a SIPT from the CUCM to the GW, vs H323 or MGCP? Just curious to know the pros/cons.

You can do H323 and still use a SIP trunk on the other side which was pretty common back in the CUCM7x days. Now that we are 10 and in a much more mature system its easier to do SIP to SIP which makes troubleshooting much easier as you only have to read one type of debugs. Also the SIP feature set is getting much more advanced. To answer your MGCP question you can't use it with SIP trunks.

@@ciscoittech I would love to see some VTC/ Expressway configurations, and possible some practicle one way audio troubleshooting. I like watching these videos because my enviornment is literally me making Jabber accounts. I'm also out here in DC to man.
