Nice one Doug. Super playing and singing. Did you know that the Cubans used to say that this song's title is what the Russian for the USSR (CCCP) really stood for? :)
@DougFrink11 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Bernie. That's funny about the Cubans, I'm sure they saw 'CCCP' written on stuff much more than we did.

Wonderful rendition. Would you be able to share the chords with us. I cannot find them for this song anywhere on the Internet.
@DougFrink9 жыл бұрын
+Xavier Gomez It's really just three chords, but with a one finger modification to each. I'm tuned down to F Bb D G, but here are the fingerings I used. 2010-2410 3211-0211 3433-3453

Doug you have completely reinvented yourself with that song. I am so used to hearing those fast jazzy strums that I was captivated and held by this change in style… it even made your voice sound different. That was excellent.
@DougFrink11 жыл бұрын
OldGardenerGuy Thanks, Rob. Slower tempo is a real challenge for me -- you make it look easy, but it's not, at least not for me, I almost always end up racing the beat. The 3/4 time also threw me at first. Maybe I'll do some more like this one. Ah, who am I kidding? I'll probably be back to my old, fast-strum self next week. :)

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh..... My heart is swelling with peace, calm and every good emotion. Your voice, the sound of your uke, and the birds singing along... Am i in heaven? :) By the way - your microphone picks up your voice and other other outdoor sounds very well - what is your set up?
@DougFrink11 жыл бұрын
Thanks, such a nice comment, you're too kind. My setup is just the built-in mic in my camera, it's a Canon Vixia HFM40.
