Have you watched the cheese strats people use? The strategy people usually use is hiding under the table in the middle and flashbanging him from there, just watch a video showcasing it and keep trying till you make it.

Skill issue. You are just noob or too łazy to look out for cheese strategy. Bosses in this game are so trash that you need to cheese almost all of them

A few tips i could give you about sniping would be -get the polyhedron artifact, because it absorbs a bunch of damage and can save you from snipers (even works on grenades and the final boss, doesnt trigger if it's a lot of damage over multiple shots) -put on a silencer so the enemy doesn't know where you are shooting from -feel free to push them if you are close enough, bolt action rifles have a 95% bleeding chance (+5% from armor piecing rounds) so they will be bleeding and hiding most likely -if you get sniped ALWAYS use bandage first, then meds -if you are on infow, and you are getting sniped from somewhere but you dont know where, 90% of the time its the massive brick tube sticking out of the western outpost

Even the Master Tier snipers are not HK. And master tier players have a lot of artifacts to protect agaist snipers too.

The McMillan can oneshot some veteran armor... but then again, when you have a master gun you don't usually run into veteran geared players

You can oneshot people (Combos with speed build with no poly or science suis) with the L96 or Mcmillian if you use SBP, but usually you need to hit 2 headshots on combat armors Talking about SBP, i recommend you using it with the sniper

If you're crouching or laying down then holding your breath doesn't consume stamina.

I've got a Mcmillan, but its only +5. generally you can get some 1 hit kills but it depends on the other person's build, there are a lot of bullet resist builds that survive that first shot. They are unlikely to survive a second though, if the bleed doesn't finish them off :)

whats your favorite sidearm for sniping? im trying to work my way to the ots33 handgun, was using the shorty590 for a while but it just doesnt have enough punch to kill someone rushing me

Ots33 is great. I use it in combination with Vsk/mcmillan and it melts anyone no matter the br if you hit your shots and are 6 meters or less engagement

No sniper in game can 1 hit kill it all takes 2 headshots(Unless you have Mc millan and L96 that too only against Science suits)
