This year during pandemic, there is no live music, but Sashta Caterers have dominated Mylapore Fine Arts and doing a roaring business, with the sabha raking in the money too !

Great lecture of interesting stories and historic references to food and connection to Sastrya Sangeetam and how they have grown together and presently thrive in a symbiotic relationship of sabha and canteen culture in modern day Chennai music season. One correction with reference to the date of St. Gnana sambandar who lived in the 7th century ahead of Shri Andal’s existence in the 8th Century and not the other way as was referred in the lecture. Throughly enjoyed.
