Hearing Gaines cry in the beginning made my heart hurt. :( Poor little thing. It's horrible when the little once are sick, cause they don't know whats happening and you feel helpless when you can't really make them feel all good. I hope Gaines will get over it soon. I've daughter named Elle who is 15 months old. :)

Bless her heart :( I think as adults we're always so quick to just say, "It's teething" or "Ear infection", but honestly from my experience with kiddos in day care most of the time at that age with a fever that high and sounding that pitiful, it's just a yucky virus (sometimes those can lead to ear infections, but often they just pass on their own). Considering Katie wasn't feeling good either I'm betting you guys picked up something at the doctors or just out in public and hopefully it will pass quickly. I think if we think about how miserable we feel when we have a cold, I'd definitely whimper and cry if I could most times. I hope that sweet girl feels better very soon!!!

It could be a tooth cutting through. Same happened with my son I didn't think he would run a very high fever I thought it was ear infection for sure. So we went to the doctor he reassured me it wasn't ear infection but that a tooth was cutting threw sure enough couple days later tooth popped through. Hope all is well and that there is nothing serious wrong with Gaines.

Sounds like the same thing my little one had. The fever lasted a couple of days with no real cause. Now poor thing has a rash :( hope she feels better

A good habit to do when organizing pantry and produce is to put the newer items in the back and bring older ones to the front that way you don't have items hiding back in your cabinet.
