Thanks for the video.... I was stuck in a regen cycle and switching that little switch from the motherboard helped me out.

If you want to fix it correctly, throw it in the trash. Bought a new system for half the price, oh and it actually works!

If a power outage occurs, should the Water Softner immediately bring itself back to normal once the power is back on? This happened to us last week, and it started flushing once power came back on, but now it is quiet, and the time is simply blinking. Does this warrant doing a hard reset as the video showed? Or simply restoring the correct time is sufficient? Thanks in advance.

My exact Culligan reads err 2. Do I need to change the motor on it?

I don’t know sir. I’m a Culligan customer with no expertise. I filmed a Culligan technician doing a reset on my system and thought it would be helpful. Sorry.

I have the same system... the GOLD series... same system just different bypass valves. ANY ADVICE for when water seems to constantly drain out the drain even after I just replaced all the main piston seals? THe motor is in home position it runs a regen etc but like I said water just constantly drains causing $400 a month water bills if not bypassed 24/7... any advice?

I am a customer of Culligan and I filmed the technician doing the reset. I’m sorry but I don’t have any subject expertise so I don’t have the ability to answer any technical questions.

Why error 2 the culligan?

I wish they has a manual for this because .......i do not know and have to call service every time.

They do that so that it will be a cost for them. Which is a business wise decision.

Mine was stuck on backwash. Probably for hours. It’s a Sunday night. It was flooding my yard and wasting tons of water. The dip switch trick worked, but it wouldn’t refill the brine tank and went back to backwash. Also my bypass valve is stripped. I ended up cycling the motor around and turning it off again midway. It’s keeping the cylinder in a spot where it’s not backwashing at least until I can get a tech out here. I’m about done with this piece of sh*t.
